What Happens in a Chiropractic Visit?

Table of Contents

Your First Visit: Listening First

We begin every appointment with a conversation. You share your story, your concerns, and your goals.

We listen carefully to understand:

  • What brought you in
  • How is it affecting your life
  • What you’d like to feel and do

Assessment and Observation

We carry out a postural, movement, and spinal assessment. No machines. Just careful observation and hands-on checks. Learn More from our article: Daily Posture Habits That Shape Your Spine.

This might include:

  • Checking range of motion
  • Noticing areas of tension
  • Palpating joint movement

We always explain what we’re doing and why.

Tailored Care, Not Protocols

If chiropractic care is appropriate, we discuss what that might look like for you. You remain in full control of your care plan.

A first visit may include a gentle adjustment, depending on your comfort and presentation.

What an Adjustment Feels Like

Adjustments are tailored. Some are very light, using hand-held tools or gentle pressure. Others involve a quick, precise movement. You never have to do anything you’re not comfortable with.

Follow-Up and Collaboration

We may suggest follow-up visits to support your goals. Or we might refer you to another practitioner if that’s more appropriate.

Our care is collaborative, never prescriptive.

Conclusion

At The Garden Studio, we aim to make every visit feel safe, clear, and empowering. If you’re curious about chiropractic but unsure what to expect, know that we’ll meet you with care and clarity. Book your visit today.
